In this field, the government ensures the population of Papua can enjoy drinking water and sanitation services, especially in rural areas.
With assistance, the total allocation from the government through the Water Supply and Sanitation Society (Pamsimas) reached 245 million rupiah per village.

There are 45 villages that have these benefits. These villages are located in four districts, namely Manokwari, Maybrat, Sorong, and South Sorong.
The objective of this program is a low-income communities (MBR) in the countryside who have limitations or potential access to drinking water and sanitation.
The goal is to improve access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation is sustainable and clean and healthy living behavior.
In addition, the government also hopes the program can change the behavior of indiscriminate defecation and reduce the incidence of disease.
Finally, the government aims to prioritize programs providing access to drinking water and sanitation through community participation.
As in this program, not only the Ministry of PUPR the work, but also the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Rural and Ministry of Internal Affairs.
