Director General of Mineral and Coal Mining (Mining) Bambang Gatot Aryono, who participated in the meeting stated that currently the Government continue to resolve matters related to the stabilization of the investment. "However, if after 6 months of PT FI can not accept IUPK, please go back to the Contract of Work (COW), but could not concentrate exports," said Bambang. The attitude of the Government has the support of the Provincial Government (Provincial) Papua. "We support policies of the Central Government and we ask the government to firm PT FI," said Governor Lukas.
Furthermore Papua province also wanted included in discussing the future PTFI operations, and aspirations which has been submitted to the Government still sought. In response, Bambang Gatot explained that these aspirations largely been accommodated in progress of negotiations carried out by the Government.
