NewsPapua - In order of justice and equality, the goverment inforce infrastucture development in Papua and West Papua. Minister of Public Works and Public Housing(PUPR) Hadimuljono Basuki said the allocation of funding throught the STATE BUDGET for the pyshical development or construction in these two provinces increased in the last two years.

If translated, This year's Papua province has allocated 411 billion rupiah for Water Resources and 3,7 trillion for highways. As for Cipta Karya 132 billion rupiah and 85 billion rupiah for housing. Thus, In total is 4,9 trillion rupiah.

While in West Papua province, the allocation for Water Resources is 343 billion rupiah, 1,5 trillion for highways and 129 billion for Cipta Karya. Thus, In total is 2,64 trillion rupiah for West Papua.

In addition, the Ministry PUPR also designated Special Allocation Fund this year in Papua 2.18 trillion rupiah. Each of West Papua and Papua received 632.3 billion rupiah and 1.5 trillion rupiah. Basuki explained, the whole project is divided into priority projects and labor-intensive. According to him, the Ministry PUPR also a builder in construction services.
